Engraving, editing, and performance

Anna von Schaden &
Antonio Rosetti's B-flat major piano concerto

Having fallen in love with this concerto, I have done my own engraving of the work - the orchestra parts, a conductor's score, the solo piano part, and a two piano version. I've also written my own cadenzas and has edited the parts.

The US premiere of the concerto was given on February 28, 2026 in Blacksburg, VA with the Virginia Tech Philharmonic, conducted by Mathias Elmer. I was joined by writer Anne Midgette who presented a pre-concert talk about Anna von Schaden and the world in which she lived, performed, and composed. Anne has written an historical novel, Escapement, in which Anna plays a very big part.

For interest in performing this concerto, please contact me.

Weekly live-streamed sightreading show on YouTube from 2020-2025

Sightreading Maverick

An hour of me sightreading music I've never seen before. For much of the show I share my strategies, tricks, and reactions with viewers. Music read is usually music on IMSLP.org and links are provided so that viewers can follow along if they wish. Questions, feedback, and comments from viewers are also welcome.

Shows are archived and can be viewed at any time.

I'm also available to come and do a show LIVE in your area.

Curated YouTube channel & online directory to piano music composed by women with scores available on IMSLP.org

Piano Music She Wrote

Pianist Sandra Mogensen and I started this project at the beginning of 2020 because we were finding it so difficult to find the scores to piano music written by women. We knew that there was a lot available on IMSLP.org but found it challenging to filter the site so we decided to do the hard work ourselves and to compile the info into an online directory.

There is also a YouTube channel to accompany the directory where we post recordings of our favorites.
